Phantom of the opera

The intro starts off with the camera zooming from a candle on fire as it moves slowly into a moving painting in the year 1919 (paris) ; the camera comes from the top to show you the environment, it keeps going down to show you a more close up of the area, also the colors are in black and white they have picked them to create the affect of an old noir film. You could see that the streets are very dirty and windy also there are leafs on the floor and also in air the props and costumes that are being used are very good as they create the right atmosphere and make the film seem more realistic. Inside the auction house you can see it’s very dirty because there are spider webs and bats flying around to make the seem more creepy and that it’s an old place, you can see light entering the building from the top, with you hear the organ playing in the back ground and the flames emerge the movie changes in to color as if the fire colored in the movie it’s a very unique effect also it’s as if when the move changes back in time as the age of the auction house goes back in time to when it was brand new as all the spider webs are gone and the place looks new and all the items and turn new. The colors that are used for the costumes are very bright colors they match the exiting music.
